First Session January 21, 2024  Theme: "Creating art: outside-in or inside-out?"
What is your source for your creative vision? Does it come from what you see in the material and real world? Is it an impression of nature? Or does it come from inside your imagination, or your spiritual center? Many great artists have struggled and searched in their quest to be creative. Let’s take a look at the work and writings of artists like Gauguin, Cezanne, Matisse, Kandinsky and Picasso and talk about their findings discoveries and debates and what it might do to enlighten our own artistic journey.
